Default Help -- Looking to Buy New 08 S2000

Need some assistance from S2000 experts. I'm in Florida and a local dealer has an untitled S2000 on the lot. After some give and take, the dealership offered the car for $30,500 out the door. Good deal or not? Thanks, Scott

In Dec I heard of dealerships letting go of their used cars for 25500 in Georgia. For a time a lot of people were getting 27k. Your deal doesn't sound too bad but its not the best deal I've heard of. Finding deals like what I said might be hard but IMO since its almost 2010, you can probably pick up an 09 for that price.

Thanks guys. As you might know, the dealership is basically selling the car for about $28,500 -- before T&L. I would opine that is a pretty sweet deal for a new car with full factory warranty. However, welcome added comments from you S2000 experts. Thanks, Scott

I'd take it. My S2000 cost me a little over $35K when I bought it new in 2007. I'm sure you can find a better deal elsewhere but maybe not one near your location.

Go for it. Last year around this time in socal, there was an 2007 new. I offered the dealership 28K OTD but they refused.

I end up buying a used.

That's a pretty good deal.

I bought an untitled 08 CR in May for $27,500 (<$30k OTD). It had 31 miles on the ODO.

See if you can get them to knock another $500 off the price....

I'd ask for more off the price---I got my '08 in March for that price at Sarasota Honda, so I'd figure you should get a better deal than that considering it was 6 months ago

That is a fair price, a couple hundred more would be nice but if it is the color you want and it is new never titled what is a couple hundred bucks over 4 or 5 years of ownership?
