My vote is K&N... I've heard nothing but praise, really. It's the route that I plan to go. I think the AEM V2 has the highest CLAIMED HP gain... but I really doubt that it's much different. And like someone else said, I don't really like the way the AEM looks.

I just think the K&N looks like some sort of "do it yourself" project that went horribly wrong

But yeah, I don't like the AEM either.. I'm getting rid of mine in favour of the stock airbox and an AUT induction panel.
yeah i agree to that, the comtech is much nice looking but from what ive read, there can be some problems with the installation and afterwards, i think i'm going with the K&N

I'm going to agree with most of the above posts when I say that the K&N is a great one if you don't mind the look of a non-carbon, non-polished intake. I'm not one that wants you to hear me roaring your way from 10 miles out...but the growl at WOT is music to my ears. If you like a sound that's a bit more aggressive I'd strongly suggest the K&N. Besides, it's not like you drive w/o a hood right?

To tell you the truth the cheapest place I found was a company on E-Bay. $233 shipped brand spanking new in the box shipped to me directly from K&N. Only took 2 days to arrive too! I would check there

The FIPK is a great kit. I love mine I started a thread containing video of my car after i installed magnaflow mufflers. but in two of the vids, you can really hear the intake as the car is comming at you. sounds great. the vids i'm talking about are the two "drive by" vids. one in my first post and another further down.
