Besides, just cuz the warrenty is still in effect, dont mean it will be covered under warrenty. Think of it this way. If you cant afford a car that may have hidden repairs to be made, then it's best that you keep looking. You never know what else you will unmask when you do get it.

I should listen to you guys. Because I want the S so bad so I keep lying and convicing myself that this one is the perfect one for me. Silverstone w/ half red inteior and low mileage. But deep down in my heart I know this isnt a perfect one. I will regret about buying this car later when I have problems. I just take a good look at the carfax and check the detail vehicle history below. And the history doesn't look too good. I guess I should keep looking for my perfect S. What a day tho~ I request a day off from my work and I wasted $25 to have the mechanic to check out the car and another $40 for half of the smog check fee. I don't even know what to tell the seller because I was so sure I'm gonna buy the car. I feel like that car is mine already and I need to let go now. Damn~

You guys are really a big help for me tho.
I just hope I will think straight like now and not buy the car tomorrow.

I wouldn't touch it either- it's had way too many owners, and something must not be right if the guy is selling 2 months after he bought it...

Wow, you suprised me. Everyone was saying no and you were still leaning towards yes.

Looks like you made the correct choice (just our opinion, though).

Take your time. I took almost a YEAR for me to find the right car - color setup - one owner - garaged. Believe me, it is worth the wait. Its no fun to make payments on something you do not love - like ex wives (hahahaha)

With the information that you've provided, especially the carfax, I'd agree that there is more to the story than the owner is telling you, if he even knows. You can get a perfect car for that same amount of money. That warranty running out thing is also a red flag. Don't do it. Wait until you find the right car for you.

When I was shopping, I didn't notice that carmax had any notably cheap prices.
