Default HELP ME DECIDE!

DONT BE BIAS AGAINST Z'S BECUASE THIS IS AN S2K SITE!!!

Okay im in a delimma. I sold my s2k about a year ago, and miss it dearly. I have always wanted a 350z too. Well it is comming back around time to get a new car. Currently i drive an 03 taurus as a beater to get me around. I finally have enough money to go out an buy one (good down payment) i have around 8k saved up. Well here is the thing. Most s2ks I see for sale usually have really high mileage. My price range is no more then 16,000. Usually I get on autotrader and search within 500 miles from here. And most have around 80-120k miles. Which seems pricey. I got bored the other day and was looking for some 350z's and they seem to be around 15000 even (6spd, 2003) but they have more around 30-60k miles. Now im in a delimma. I need this next car to be very reliable and very fun to drive. I have owned an s2k and driven a 350z. I love them both.
Plans for the s2k- Wheels, Boost, 450whp (in about 2 years), full exhaust, tune, stereo, springs. etc
Plans for 350z- Wheels, Springs, Exhaust (kind of more relialble) no boost

Please post up stories of good and bad with each car (i know there are 350z owners on here) and let me know what to look for, good and bad, and the relailibity, of both. I am a bigger guy, 6ft 220lbs, so I need something for when i go to FL to visit my friend and my half sister (i live in ohio) which would be a better purchase? please help!! and dont be bias.. be honest...
thanks!!

are you keeping your Taurus? If yes, get the S2000

are you keeping your Taurus? If no, get the 350Z

simple as that

350z would definitely be more of a cruise car versus the S2000.

I chose the S2000 after contemplating between the two also.
I also have a taurus too, lol.

Anyways.. I would go with whatever feels better.
I drove the 350z, it was too heavy and felt "big" when driving.
The S2000 is small, nimble and quick.
The Z is large, heavy, but quick.

BUT, if you plan on modding it, the Z looks much better modded than the S2000 ever will, for sure.

Z has it's own unique looks, like the S.

They both perform well.. S handles better than the Z, but Z is much faster from the factory than the S.

S definitely seems to be the more fun car to drive.

Come on didn't we just do this thread last month:

You won't get an answer other than S2000 here. This is an S2000 site. And you could post "Which would you chose breathing or the S2000" and get 100 posts about how the S2000 destroys breathing.

Its a silly troll trick, that anyone can do... even newbies.

Unfortunately you are on the bad side of how well the S holds its value. The good things in life always cost a little more.

to get the best price on an older model WITHOUT signing up for an expensive 150k mileage car, you may want to go for a longer drive--search autotrader for a larger area, and plan a trip to disneyland when you buy it
(I've heard 1 in 3 or some ridiculous portion of S2000s are in california.)

on the other side, s2000 vs 350z, that thread from last week has a lot of good info. it is biased against the s2000, but you'll see very quickly that it's not one-sided. the bias really shows that s2000 owners care about different things than 350z owners, and we are willing to make concessions to get what we prefer.

also, dumb as this is, i feel 350z's are very common, and i dont like to see my car everywhere--just sometimes. that seems to be rather common among s2000 owners.
