Get a Z and then go post on their forum and ask them if you should have bought an S.

i haven't driven the z buti drove a 06 G35 6mt and a 07 S2k and there wasn't even anything to think about. i was very hyped about the s2k and its performance was way beyond my expectation. but the G *thumbs down* i'd imagine the Z is similar to the G and i would NOT get one. they are everywhere, assuming it drives like the G it's pretty boring but smooth pretty powerful engine. nothing like the s2000 though, you should know you said u had one before.

btw this is coming from a nissan owner so i'm not really biased. i'd get rid of my 240sx for the s2k any day.

If I were you, I would save little bit more money and buy a GT-R

I agree. Just a bit more money then GT-R. Screw Z or S.

I think this question gets asked in some form once a week on here. It's such a personal decision that only you and your gut feeling can decide. You know the finances and the specs and the potential. All it boils down to is what "feels" right to you.

Drove my friend's 03 Z today..
it's fast.
but it's heavy, like I said before.

Clutch feels like crap..
Much heavier, though, I like that part.

It's an overall good car.. his car has the Tanabe Seven coilovers and they're softer than the S2000. I also like that part.

S is a more "raw" car.
Z, like I said, is a very good cruise car.

I hate that the S has such shitty clutches though..
Friend's Z has the Nismo 1.5way and stock clutch with decent sticky Federal SS595 tires on the back, it was SO much easier to let loose unlike my S, which my clutch started to smell like shit after attempting once.

Z is a fun car too.

You just need to go test drive both cars.

lol thanks for all the replys. i came here cuz i dont trust my local forum, they are all like pro v8 guys and would tell me to get a mustang or something. I have been on this site for a couple months and everyone seems to be friendly so i decided to come here. I am 100% honest when i say this, it is exactly 50/50 on this one... but u guys know what im saying, its like ... ugh. good and bath with both. Im 22, have NO kids, NOT a GF at the moment, no plans for any of those for a while. Just got the best job of my life. time to move up a notch ya know? i agree, 350z = better cruiser, s= more race/real/raw car. But i dont konw if im keeping the taurus or not yet... to be completely honest, today while driving around and running to the store, i counted 7 350z's and only 1 white s2k. S2k seems to be more for me.... i cant get rid of my honda roots starting with an 89 crx back in 00 haha) before i could even drive... hmm ive been debating this for over 9 months now. and still cant figure out!

You already owned an S so why not ask yourself what you miss about it and what you do not miss about it. You state that you will keep the 350z more reliable then just get a G35 because that would suite you more.
