Help Me Price My Car :(
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some honest opinions on what my Honda S2000 might be worth as it sits.
I’m honestly pretty bummed about it. I love this car and planned to keep it for a long time, but life has gotten busy and I just don’t have the time to fix it or give it the attention it deserves anymore. Figured it would be better if it went to someone who can give her the TLC she deserves.
Here are the details
2004 S2000 Sebring Silver
128k miles
Clean title
Located in Pasadena, CA
Engine is stock. It has a skunk2 cat back exhaust. That’s it for mods.
Interior is overall pretty good but the seats do have some tearing.
Soft top has a few tears as well.
Exterior has some flaws. The rear driver side quarter has a noticeable bondo repair from before I owned it and it is visible. There is also paint chipping on the passenger side mirror.
Mechanical issue is the main thing. One spark plug hole needs to be rethreaded and oil is leaking into another spark plug tube which is causing a misfire and the check engine light to come on.
The car does run but it obviously needs that fixed.
I’m trying to get a realistic idea of what people think it would sell for as is in today’s market. Also wondering if you think it is worth fixing that issue before selling or just letting it go as it is.
Appreciate any insight before I sell it.

As a buyer, I would assume a new motor is needed, unless proven otherwise.
