Help me S2Ki...your my only hope!
Whatever man, I feel for you....that really sucks that you have to go through this.
But, you bought a car that is "used" you should accept the fact that it is not going to be in show room condition. Thats what you get when you want to save 15K off of sticker.
I am sorry, but is this your first car purchased?

Boy do you give some of the most worthless replies. Seems like your replies lately have all been on being an ass side. Are we having a malox moment?
I'm just trying to say, some of the people here just need to accept that you did not purchase a Mercedes, or Lexus. Your attitudes can fly there. Not at Honda really, these cars can sell themselves. They dont need to brown nose every individual that comes on the lot, the car will eventually sell it's self.
You buy a used car to get a brand new look? Well hot damn, I'll never in my life buy a new car again.
In hindsight you never should have taken delivery of the car. The repair and your satisfaction with it should have come before you ever drove away in it. IMO your best option is to return the car and void the contract due to them not fulfilling their side of the bargain. You will never be happy with any repair that they perform.
one approach would be to send the dealer a letter, advising them that if you do not have a resolution within so many days you will pay someone in your area to do the work and then take them to small claims court, make a complaint to whatever agency regulates dealers, and you expect payment of XX$$ . the XX$$ is based on the estimate you enclose for the body shop you wish to do the work in your area. enclose a photo of the lousy job so that someone can see it that receives the letter, send a copy to honda USA. this costs you little and may get results, no i would not hire a lawyer to do this, good money wasted for the level of adjustment you wish. best of luck, it sucks to be ripped off, and this will not be the last time this happens, life has a few of these to throw at you from time to time just to keep you sharp.
your 2002 paint should be faded compare to the new bumper repainted, I guess blending should be harder, but yea I would be pissed too hahaha.
The only thing is that you should complain a hella lot to Honda. and tell the place you bought your car that if they dont do good job, you going to give bad rating to them on everything. usually dealer should be scare of that.

In my somewhat limited experience, honda dealers are pretty worthless. I know it's the principle of the thing, I just had something similar happen with the dealer I bought my CPO S2K from (only they're 50 miles away), and it looks like I'll have an easier time just eating the cost.
What I want to know is who is responsable for maintaing honda certified standards. My AHM rep didn't know. This dealership didn't even notice a crack in the bumper, I doubt they even were looking at the car whne they were checking off those 150 boxes. They make comercials about how valuable the certification process is, if they don't back up those claims at all what good are they?!?!
As far as when I bought the car goes I showed up at dusk, I had been looking all day. I looked the whole thing over but i was looking for the less obvious things: undercarriage, door jams, engine oil, rotor condition, idle sounds cold and hot etc. I don't know how I missed the crack, but I caught it the next day!
Thanks for all the advice S2ki! I fell better just knowing so many people have heard my story and know how lousy this is.
