I just put my intake manifold + throttle body back on the car and ran it to make sure the engine ran well before I started the supercharger install...

I have the Mugen lower temp thermostat and ran the car a good 10 minutes (three bars on the instrument panel) and the return hose to the radiator never got hot.

How long should it take to open the 60-something degree Celsius thermostat? I didn't want to run it any longer in fear I would hurt the engine.

Thanks for the help guys and gals!

Isn't there a precedure for purging air from the system. Just a guess. Also sometimes the thermostat can open and close again due too the cold water. It may take a while for the hoses to warm up.

Thank you wirejock! I will look at my Helm for purging air... there should be a ton of it in the cooling system.

Thanks again.
