Default help removing instrument cluster

hey guys...the previous owner of my car put some faux redwood trim on the car...i removed the fake wood trim on the instrument cluster panel, and the adhesive pulled off some of the coloring on the cluster, so now it doesnt look too good...i was planning on pulling off the panel and painting it, but i'm having trouble removing it...i got the 2 screws under the caps off, and all the clips disconnected, but it seems to be stuck on the wiper stalk and turn-signal stalk...

i was wondering if i'd need to pull off the steering wheel?!?

any tips/hints/links greatly appreciated...

thanx in advance...

The manual might help, I can't remember exactly whe nI was looking at doing this, but I do believe you have to remove the steering wheel. And just about everyhting else related to the dash!!

You either pull the steering wheel, or lower it a bit.

In this thread, there is a link for instllation. It covers it in detail. http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=138737
