Default help: removing instrument cluster

Help please... i really cannot figure out what's required to remove the instrument cluster....

after removing the 2 screws facing upwards, i can then pull the whole cover loose, but it seems to get blocked up by the steering column, which cant be shifted down... and also blocked by the 2 paddles on the sides of the cloumn....

anyone removed their cluster before? or even the controls / buttons on the sides???

thanks in advance

no you don't. pop off the plastic cover ontop of the steering column between the cluster and the steering wheel, then you can pull it out. i've done it myself.

i think i've found some good instructions from the qube's audio control install guide... thanks for all the replies.

seems like you have to lower the steering column via the 2 bolts underneath.
