hey guys, today, while going SPEED LIMIT on the i5, i heard a loud splat of sort and with a quick scan of my windshield, i see a 1 cm in diameter, 2 mm deep, rock chip on my baby! as ALL of you would be, i was pissed as hell! so with that, a quick couple questions...

HOPEFUL ALTERNATIVES

1. can i claim it under dealer warranty? (not likely?)
2. any way to fix this without getting a completely new windshield?
Why the heck would it be a warranty? You know darn well what happened, so why would you take it the dealership and try to lie to them about it being a warranty issue?

I am a UCI grad too, so man up and claim insurance or fork over the dough and fix it.

small rock chips in the windshield are repairable. Look up auto glass guys in your area.
