Do you know if the stock S2000 antenna has the same thread pattern as the antennas from a Golf or Jetta? Can someone please let me know as I would like to buy a real fancy schmancy antenna that some tuner makes for VW cars.
Cheers
Asif

You could always replace it and then take the new one off every time you park it, keep it in your pocket...

What is the point in nicking a bleedin' ariel??!?!?!

And when they put a foot against your fender to get some leverage to twist it off, it will cost you what?

Oh, but you saved $15!

When I first lost an antenna it did piss me off, but after long consideration, not enough to bite off my own nose and use locktite.

Just get over the "nobody's going to steal from me" thing and consider the antenna a "wear item" like wiper blades, the cost is about the same.

It sucks that you lost your antenna. This seems to be happening more and more lately. All the other car owners love our antenna and are too cheap to buy it.

Wow, I have to be careful now. I have my special VW antenna (thick one which looks like the S2000 one) stolen and stereo stolen 3 times from my GTI before. Thought it would be save when I get the new car with the alarm system. Maybe not...
