Default Help: Stuck on the Lot!

I drive by John Eagle Honda in Clear Lake (Houston) almost every day. There seems to be a Spa Yellow S2K w/ Hardtop and chromed wheels stuck on the lot for the past two months. Can someone rescue it and rescue me - it makes me think that they aren't selling any more!

I've watched other colors come and go - probably 5-7 cars in the same time period. Maybe all the new buyers came to their senses and just want black! (oh, no - he didn't go there did he!)

My yellow sat on the showroom floor for about four months before I rescued it. I think yellow is harder to sell to the non enthusuast. They told me that people would look at it but end up ordering one of the other colors which was fine by me as I got a great deal at the time.

My Spa sat on the lot for several months as well, got a great deal on it due to that as well.

I don't think Yellow is for everyone. In fact the quote I got from Honda Canada this year was they weren't going to offer it as a standard colour due to low demand. They brought in just over 40 last year and it came with a hardtop, car cover and they said they had a hard time moving them.

I love mine

last I checked, John Eagle wasn't selling anywhere near MSRP - so saving a yellow S2000 from JEH isn't exactly ideal depending on your pocketbook.

And they sell the Hardtop as an $8000 option!!!

Hmm, I wonder why I see it everyday I drive by too..

It's my understanding that it is the owner's car...

I stopped there last weekend for a brochure, and a salesman waddled up to me...he informed me that the yellow one was for $43,000 (implying it was for sale--I'm not sure why)...

a used black/black they have parked in front with 7000 miles is selling for $34,000...

I don't know about the John Eagle Honda in Clear lake, but the John Eagle Honda on 290 has a yellow S2000 and it is owned by the owner of the car lot.

Sideways: Because she calls her name to me...(just trimming off of that ridiculous thread I read about naming your car)

Actually because its the only one that I've seen them chrome the wheels on and I do drive by there everyday - unlikely they'd have an immediate replacement.

I also don't think that Nick is driving the car, I've seen him driving other cars - but not that one.

I think its a yellow thing.
