When I first got my S I was cruising at dusk with the lights on. I was behind a cop and she pulled over and as I passed she flipped on her lights and pulled me over. She was furious asking why I had my brights on and why I was flickering my lights at her. I really didn't know what to say so I just told her it was a new car and that my brights were not on it was just the HID bulbs. She wrote me up a warning for the brights and for having illegal blue headlights. She told me I would have to go to court with proof that I had them changed to factory equipment..

But, like I mentioned, the BMW 3 series has clear-corners as a sports package option. The M3 has them as well. Many of the newer cars have them now.

I have to admit though, the AP2 headlights are a drastic improvement, however, I still dislike the freakin yellow ambers on the headlights...ruins the color consistency, imo.

Yes, the corners of the headlights are clear, but there is still an amber reflector on the side of the bumper. Since Honda didn't want to add anything to the bumper, they integrated the reflectors into the headlights, thereby requiring some amber in there.

I see now. Honda wasn't just trying to make me spend $800 for the JDM AP1 lights.

You should have told her she belongs home baking pies and knitting sweaters.
