Default HEY VORTECH

I have seen posts on this forum about how bad Vortech is on after the sale customer service. Now I have personnal knowledge of this. I'm after some extra parts so I can modify my supercharger. I need some of the 3.5" flex hose to relocate my air filter. I've heard they don't reply to emails. I now know this to be true. Not a good way to do business. I can't even find a good substitute locally and the only local distributor for Vortech said they don't order small items from Vortech, only kits.
Having met the guys at Comptech, I can tell you that they have a genuine enthusiasm for Honda/Acura owners. So far, I've been fairly neutral about which one to recommend. I think I'll be endorsing COMPTECH from now on. Sometimes, "after the sale" service is much more important than the origianl buy.

I sent Vortech an email a few weeks ago trying to get some customer service. I never received a reply from them either. Been about 3-4 weeks now.

I, too, have heard a lot of good things about Comptech's customer service... Before the purchase and after.

I have asking them about tons of questions, with my crappy english, and always got an answer from Shad and others. Since I have 7 hours difference email is the best way for me

I am very happy with their post-sale costumer service

I don't know if they have a toll free number or if that number would work from Canada. I'm after a 10 buck item. Should I spend 5 bucks on a phone call when they have an email address printed in their website? If they don't check their email, maybe they shouldn't have it listed? I'll bet if I had emailed them to ask about buying a complete kit for $4000.00, they'd answer.

Jeff's been too kind to me already. I hate to bug him for a 10 buck item. I'm just venting my frustration at Vortech's unwillingness to respond to emails. I have the local NAPA guy working on a substitute.

You planning on running the ducting down into the wheel well Xviper? Ive seen a few setups like that now with the vortech. It always surprizes me that none of the companies make a more cold air friendly intake system.

I've tried calling them too. They didn't seem to knowledgable about the issue I was running into and basically suggested that I repurchase a timing box that they just sent me (that was faulty).
