You planning on running the ducting down into the wheel well Xviper? Ive seen a few setups like that now with the vortech. It always surprizes me that none of the companies make a more cold air friendly intake system.
That was one of the plans. The other is to do a reverse flow through the air filter by turning it (JR filter) backwards and shoving the fat end (with the hole) into that hole in the fender wall, building a chamber for the filter and hosing it to the blower inlet.

I have asking them about tons of questions, with my crappy english, and always got an answer from Shad and others. Since I have 7 hours difference email is the best way for me

I am very happy with their post-sale costumer service

Juan Mezerhane
I too have had great experiences with Shad and Nate. Incredibly nice and go out of their way to help...

I believe it is a simple 3" hose that you can find at the local hardware store. Go to the vent section and ask for a dryer vent...

Actually, Vortech lists it as 3.5". I've thought about the dryer vent hose, but I'm concerned that it just isn't strong enough. Most dryer vent hose I've seen crack and split very easily. That stuff is made out of some flimsy plastic material. The flex hose looks and feels like it's made of some kind of woven, re-inforced fabric material.

have one of your us friends call vortech for free if they don't have a toll free number. see what the reaction is. or send an email with a subject line, "i have a $7000 budget and an s2000, what can you do for me. call me at xxx xxx xxxx at your earliest convenience, thank you." then when they call you, well you know what to do.

That would be in bad taste. Jeff with Evolution is a great guy. I've met him in person. It's not his fault that Vortech doesn't answer their email.
I'm sure if I asked Jeff, he'd contact Vortech and kick their ass, but my "after the sale" service is not his concern. I have nothing against the Vortech kit. It works really great. I'm just not fond of the way they ignore you after you've forked over the money and that has nothing to do with Evolution.
