Ok, here it is.

The brightness of the HID compared to other manufacturers (Evo, STI, BMW, Audi, etc) the s2000 HID brightness seems to be very dim.

I noticed this when I was driving in I-75 and encountered few other cars next to me and I pulled right next to them to see how bright it was compare to their lights.

Then I begin thinking about the size of the projector. Compare to most manufacturers the projector lense on our car is fairely small.

I know it was designed back in 2000 when HID was rare and only came on luxury vehicles, but would size of the projector have anything to do with the output intensity of our HID?

or is it something to do with our ballast and the size of the bulbs? I think it's H1 that we run like most other manufacturer's HID's.

I'm open for discussion on this.

Let me point out that I don't think it's the color temperature but actual brightness of the light on the ground. Color temperature may differ from each manufacturers but I could see the difference between the intensity and the brightness of our lights compare to other cars (Evo for example.)
