Default HID cutoff does not look right

What's up everyone, can anyone tell me what is wrong with my hid cutoff? I've attached a photo below. My passenger side seems high and looks like it has a glare. This doesn't seem normal to me. I've tried researching but I'm having no luck finding an answer. If anyone can help out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!

The HID cutoffs are always offset like that on the s. It's so you don't blind oncoming traffic. The glare I'm not sure about. Could just be from dirty lenses or something?

Fun fact: JDM headlights have the opposite pattern, because they drive on the wrong side so if you want to import your car, you have to swap the headlights.

Thanks for your input s2kreeper.

I understand that the cutoff is to prevent oncoming traffic, but mine for some reason has that glare on the passenger side. I know they are suppose to look the same on each side, like attached (not my photo-- used as reference).

My headlights are clean, I just had them polished and it looks brand new. So dirt wouldn't be the reason.

Hey I can't get my HID's to line up like that in that pic above. The passenger side goes over the drivers side. It looks weird.

Seems like we're having the same problem. Hopefully we can find an answer from our fellow members.

Only thing I could suggest is checking to make sure your bulbs are in properly, sometimes if they are not sitting right they will have a distorted outcome. And yes, they are a huge pain to get access to.

Read some DIY on low beam replacement. It does seem like a huge pain for a bulb replacement. I'm going to check this over the weekend. Thanks for your input.

Agreed. Granted this is my first time owning a car with projector headlamps, I have quite a bit of experience from work with them. I would DEFINITELY be checking that the bulb is correctly installed, and also hope that if it IS mis-aligned, it hasn't melted the mounting socket in the headlamp. I've seen that before, not pretty. Best of luck to you.

Are your front tires at the same air pressure?
