Default HID to LED

Has anyone changed their HID setup to LED. Can you let me know how it worked out for you considering changing, but if no improvements will keep my HIDs on

Wow you guys are spoiled! I've been loving the HID's on my S as I came from a Miata which had the equivalent of candles for headlights.

Joking aside, what is the motiviation to look for LED replacements?

My only guess as to why one would want to go from HID to LED is if they want a color change while being able to turn their lights on/off quickly without damaging the bulb (lol).

LEDs over time will be much cheaper as HIDs phase out, they might already be cheaper actually.

If you're looking for a whiter/bluish output, pick up some D2S Osram CBH bulbs. They aren't cheap, but they have some of the best output available.

You're going to get nothing but disappointment with any LEDs you try, unless you plan on retrofitting an LED specific projector. Even then, it will likely be a downgrade from your OEM projectors.

I've got factory LED's on my 2016 Civic Touring, they look really nice and the colour is perfect, and obviously the lens is designed around the output of the bulbs. But in my opinion the HID's on my S2000 put out a more consistent light onto the road , the LED's seem to be a bit patchy when the light pattern is viewed on the road. The LED's are super bright and have fewer parts, but I just think HID"s put out a nicer light pattern.

I know some guys on the Civic forum tried putting aftermarket LED bulbs in their halogen fixtures on the lower base models, and they complained about noise as the bulbs are ventilated with a fan ?

We have some of the best lighting solutions available already.

I can virtually guarantee you any aftermarket solution is going to look like ass in comparison.

So post a picture and links to the bulbs you bought.
