HID to LED
The transition from halogen projectors / reflectors to HID is so dramatic that its extremely tempting to do. The transition from an excellent HID setup to an aftermarket LED setup with an HID projector is definitely a step backwards. Your only way to make this work is to either invent a replacement LED headlight, or stick your headlights in the oven, open them up, remove the projectors, put in LED projectors, seal it back up and then probably have the same light output and no visual differences.
You dont get it.....not saying one is better than the other. Just saying led is a viable option. You can see with them at night. I got no headlights at all with my car. Only wires hanging out the front end. What do you expect for a $1000 car. After market was $450ish. Factory is more than $1800. Would have used oem is someone would have given me some.

Everything is after market. I'm sure nothing was highest quality. Looks good and fit budget. chinese made assemblies. I sure factory oem were better but way too much money. I am retired tech. Worked for several honda dealerships and owned my own shop. Still play with electronics. S2000 is my hobbie/beater car. It has been hit and under water.

what people tend to do is take HIDs and put them in halogen projector housings (terrible), or take LEDs and put them in HID projector housings. Both of these cause severe blinding issues for oncoming drivers. What you did is fine though - you put LEDs into an LED projector. If in an accident I would seriously consider this for my s2000 as well. sorry for the miscommunication
Not trying to pile on Halfassjack as I likely would have done something similar in your shoes. There is a question of legality when it comes to modifying OEM headlight assemblies to use non-OEM style lights. So more of an FYI for everyone:
