HId question
but at least they arent black lights yet at only 8000kthatll be some serious blue action and probably look cool. I think that super insanely bright white (4300k) looks better though it looks clean and functional.
as for your question you need to remove the rubber grommet around the headlight to access the bulb. I didnt have to remove the bumper to change my Highbeams, but im not sure about my lows. I have small hands so that made a difference
It means color temp, Usually the higher the temp i.e 8000K the more blue/purple light comes out of the bulb.
The s2k comes stock with 4300k people sometimes put the 6k, 8k and 12k bluish purple bulbs in there cars for the color.
Also it a fact that the higher the bulb temp, the lower lumens it puts out, meaning the headlights dont get the same light output as the stocks, but more of the blue purple color.

I have 8000k in my car and it's fine for normal driving trust me....and my vision isn't all that great either
You do need to remove the fender liner and front wheels or proper way to do it like me is to remove the front bumper to remove the headlights. I was doing my clear corner mod so it was no big deal.
