I turned my high beams on for the first time the other night and I noticed that they were just like regular halogen lights. Is there anyway i can convert them into the xenons like in the low beams? I just think it looks kind of bad to have these really bright low beams and not that bright high beams. Though I really don't use the high beams much, this was the first time i have used them and i have had the car for about 6 months. Thanks

I don't think so and if you could it would be costly. I have not seen anyone on the board that has done this before.

The low beams are bad enough for getting flashed from on coming traffic and having stuff thrown at you from cars you are following. Why would you want anything brighter?

I put white high beams in without much hassle. It's just hard to get your hand in the driver's side one to do the switch...

But I'm glad I did it...lights costs me about 75 dollars, I think...

Using HIDs for high beams is not a good idea because they require several seconds to warm up properly -- shorter than you will normally use them.

About the flashing, I've had the stook for 2 months, with most of my driving at night, and I've never once had anyone mistake me for a cop. I have, however, noticed people move out of the left lane promptly when I come up behind them, which was rare in my GSR.
