I'm curious as to how many miles people have racked up on their cars. I'm really only interested in hearing about higher mileage cars (say, 50k and beyond).

Personally, I don't think 50k is anywhere near "high"... I've got 60k on my '00 S, and it still runs like a beast. My first gear synchro could probably be in a little better shape, but I've got no grinding anywhere.
I'm curious as to how other people's motors are holding up. I'm hoping it'll turn out to be a "true Honda" and stand the test of time, despite the extra stress it might be subjected to.

My '02 has 53k miles. I haven't had any mechanical failures yet. The only thing I've noticed is that my 2nd gear synchro could also probably be in a little better shape - my 1-->2 shift sometimes grinds when the tranny is cold (it never did when new), and it takes a long time for the 1-->2 shift to become smooth.

Have you changed the tranny fluid? Some new Honda MTF certainly couldn't hurt.

Yeah, I changed the tranny fluid with Honda MTF just two weeks ago, and the problem is still there. It does seem to have a dependence on the ambient temperature to some extent. If I garage the car overnight and then drive it, the tranny will shift better. If I leave the car outside in the cold overnight, then the next morning, it shifts poorly and takes a long time before shifting smoothly. It's currently more of an annoyance than anything else, and hopefully it stays that way.
