I wish we could start a thread that is uniform in presentation and data is entered from time to time by the owner to update serious issues about the particular car with regard to problems, warranty issues, Honda of America.
No discussions of add-ons, modifications, changes, racing, etc. It could be an important thread to print out in the future to support a claim to Honda of America or a Dealer.
Or it could be valuable, in the unlikely event of some type of class action suit.

Since Honda would keep data by VIN, the thread should be by VIN #. It would be a concise history of a great number
of cars that we all could read, since Honda will only discuss one car with you ( yours ).

If a thread can not support this, is there another data base
method to register our cars by VIN , and from time to time, update your oun car's history, for all to share?

I Know that Josh3io set up the bay area database for honda service and performace shops, maybe you can use the same tools to set up an online database for the Vin#'s

Sounds like a worthwhile project; are you by any chance a numbers cruncher?

This might be something we could do at https://www.s2ki.com since most the data is already there.

Thoughts?

Yup, I'm a numbers cruncher, didn't realize it was so obvious. I'm V.P. Finance of a Computer Co. in Silicon Valley. ...... but I would certainly like a place to read the on-going history of a number of cars.

I visited and registered as a member of https://www.s2ki.com
but it's sorted only by the date a member signed up and issues the next member number. There's no way to easily sort it by VIN. Also changes are not easy, as they have to be e-mailed in & manually changed.

There would need to be a data base, by VIN, that can be changed only by the owner ( with password ), but all could be read.

Maybe not possible.

Anything is possible, s2ki is willing to host such a dbase. We need someone dedicated to this project if it was to happen. S2Ki is the portal for S2000 Information, so it would make sense to find this information on the club site. Any thoughts!
