Default Hit a deer with the S last night

Well, as far as deer hits go, I got off pretty lucky and I think the deer did too.

Damn thing came out of nowhere, standing where 2 interstates merge. I guess the cars freaked him out and he elected to run right towards me. He hit the left side mirror with his neck area, busted the glass in the mirror and screwed up the spring loaded mounting so the mirror assembly would have to be replaced along with the weatherstripping that's between the door exterrior and the window. Pics are below.

I stopped and checked to see how bad the deer was hurt and he must have taken off because he wasn't laying in the road or anywhere along side the road. So I assume he survived the hit too, good thing, it worried me that an animal might be laying in or near the road dying with nothign I could do about it.

So anyone have a used NFR left side mirror in great shape? Are all S2K mirrors the same or will I need one specific to an AP1? The weatherstripping with have to be replaced w/ a new one but I'm thinking I could get a new mirror assembly.

That sucks Warren, but glad the damage isn't that bad.

Haven't see you in Mid-A or at a meet in awhile! Hope all is well.
