How does that happen?
Maybe driver was backing out of the spot, right side their car hit yours? That doesn't look like a simple bump. Almost as if they had some speed.

Could easily have happened like said above. The metal on our fenders are pretty darn thin.

I had this happen to me in the parking lot at work once. To think that someone you work with would just drive away without acknowledging their error and owning up sucks. Thankfully my car at the time was an old Honda civic. Now when I park in a parking lot I am so far from every other car and still sometimes someone has to park their crappy car right next to my 2013 Accord. The S hardly ever gets parked in a parking lot.

Sorry to see this man.

Look around to see if there are any camera's in or around the parking lot. You just might get lucky and find something.

Damn that sucks. How does that even happen? I hate people smh
Just based on the pictures and nothing else, I would venture to guess that whoever was parked next to him went to back out of their spot, never even realized the silver S2000 was there (maybe there was rain on their passenger window or whatever, it's dark, never looked, got distracted, blah blah blah), started to crank the wheel way too early as if no one was there and... BAM! Their passenger side bumper impacted his driver's side fender.
At like 100mph? I mean come on, did they not stop when they felt resistance? what the actual f**k.

I will admit, that I have c**ked up a parking job before, but the damage was some missing paint, not a fender that was pushed in half a foot...

^^ I don't think they would have to be going that fast to do that kind of damage. It's just sheet metal. And if there isn't anything behind that section worth speaking of, it would be easy for it to get crushed in before the other driver would have time to react, assuming he/she never even realized the other car was there in the first place.

Would your dash cam have recorded that? Does it have the G sensor?

have the police pull the security camera footage of the car that hit you, surely they can or another store next to them can catch the plate.

Done deal for them...
