Every picture I see of this exhaust, it looks like the canisters/tips are both angled slightly outward. I cant say I'm a fan of the angled exhaust look, but I want the HKS sound.

Are my eyes just playing tricks on me, or is this exhaust really angled outward? If so, is there any way to eliminate or at least decrease this angle? To clarify, I like the slight upward angle, I just hate the slight outward angle...

I know what you mean. I am not too crazy about having two cannister style mufflers on the back of my car, but...

If my exhaust ever comes in, after I install it I may consider painting the mufflers flat black and leaving the tips stainless to make it look a little less aggresive.

In person they do angle upward, but they don't angle outward. When I had this exhaust the only thing I hated was trying to get the damn tips to hang at the same level. It always seemed like one was slightly higher then the other.

Thanks

Does anyone have more AP1 pics of this exhaust from angles other than low and directly behind? I'm having trouble finding any...

Also, whats with the little tank-looking piece of extra piping at the Y? Seems like a major flow disruption...

Thanks again guys

Picks on an AP2: A little Dirty - it rained a few days ago. I like it because it's quiet and doesn't sound "ricey"
