There was a gentleman at Laguna with an Amuse R1 exhaust and he did not get black flagged.

Like I have said before.. drive one before you buy. I had mine for a few weeks... and have had a Mugen for over a year after pulling the HKS.

I Purchased my used on this board, and it is a great bargin. I like the sound, it is loud, but not tanabe or amuse loud. louder than a neuspeed exhaust. The only thing is when i am in a low gear, and high in the rpm, it gets loud, with the top on.. but hey.. we should always drive with the top down anyway right?

I've not heard very many aftermarket exhausts for the S2000, but I drove an HKS-equipped S2000 just the other day. I didn't find it to be loud at all, but then again, my Prelude has a GReddy EVO, which is pretty freakin' loud. The HKS has an amazing sound from inside the car and from the outside, giving the car an even more F1-like tone, () but there don't seem to be any big benefits other than the sound. You lose maybe 5 pounds off the stock system, and the dual exhaust systems haven't shown much in the way of repeatable power gains on a dyno (if any at all).
