"HKS exhaust...

- Heavy. 45lb.
- No HP gain.
- Poor material for its price. Not stainless leads to rusting over time.
- Poor workmanship/welding. There have been numerous reports of holes developing at the welds after about one year of use.
- Quite loud,

To sum it up, HKS is one of the very worst exhaust you can buy for S2000. A downgrade from stock exhaust.

Why do you believe that a test-pipe is required with this exhaust? Is your exhaust full stainless?

because the test pipe just makes it sound amazing. it really doesn't sound too much different from stock without the test pipe. that was my first impression when i heard it for the first time without a test pipe.

no HKS is full stainless. the guy at invision told me it is mild steel. but apparently the newer version of the hi-power has been remedied to prevent premature rusting.

it is a dual exit exhaust, but each muffler has a single tip. if you want to convert that single tip to a dual you'd have to cut the current tip out. i can't see why anyone would want to do that, but i guess you could do that haha
