Default HKS testimonial

I know it must be like 1000th testimonial on HKS, but
i had to say something too.
Well, what can i say!
It sounds so damn good!
but drone is much more than i expected. I heard HKS has no drone, and i'm just imagining if this is no drone then what invidia would be like?

It just has pretty good drone at lower rpm (under 3500) and it makes me impossible to cruise at 65mph with 6th gear on cuz of drone in the cabin, but all the drones go away if i keep the rpm high.

But sound is definately nice, growl feeling is awesome. I would hope all the lower rpm range drone to go away when i intall tp.

If anyone wants anything that is lil more sportier than stock, then go for HKS

I do a lot of highway cruising between 60 and 85 and to be honest, my HKS doesnt have anything anywhere
in the RPM range that I would describe as "drone."

There is definitely a "drone" between 2800-3500. Beyond that, nothing at all.

Age will change the sound as well. I've had mine for 2+ years and it keeps getting deeper and deeper sounding, and no there are no exhaust leaks or cracks that I can find .

I agree. If you just got the exhaust give it a couple weeks to get good and broken in and a lot of that "drone" should fade. This is true for a lot of exhausts. After the break in the sound gets better.

you dont know what drone is until you drove a car with an invidia exhaust & testpipe. hks is quiet in comparison.

Very true. Invidia is frickin' loud, especially following one in a group drive.
