HKS testimonial
My ears would bleed if it's louder than this now, seriously.
I'm stunned when i'm in the drone range and my brain wouldn't process a thing cuz of the drone
You invidia people are going to loose brain cell in matter of time and gonna get dumb along with hearing lose!

you dont know what drone is until you drove a car with an invidia exhaust & testpipe. hks is quiet in comparison.
i had that setup. i loved the sound, but when winter came and i had to put the top up, i thought my ears were gonna fall off. i sold the invida catback bc of the drone, and the cops giving me tickets

There is definitely a "drone" between 2800-3500. Beyond that, nothing at all.
Regardless, I love mine

I respectfully disagree. Although I could be desensitized I guess, since my last car was a 97 Z28 with headers and a cutout.

I love the sound of my HKS, but top up at highway speeds is a major headache for me. I wear earplugs (yeah yeah I know illegal..) and I still have a migraine after.

So does a test pipe get ride of the drone?
And others are spot on about running in the exhaust. The first couple of hundred miles, the drone will slowly die down. I've ran mine in for a couple of thousand miles but still wasn't happy with the drone as I do a lot of highway commutes.
The test pipe will remove 90% of the drone and it just roars even more and sounds really good IMHO. Highly recommended, HKS+testpipe.

Are you kidding? Wow, if you're that sensitive, you probably should have stayed stock, since I think the HKS is probably one of the quietest exhausts...
