Default Holes under front license tag if removed? Advice?

I got the car from a state where a front tag is required. Here, it isn't required, so I want to remove the front tag bracket / holder. There are 2 bolts which I am having problems removing, I think I need a 13/32" hex bolt, but my question is this:

Once I get it removed, will there be 2 holes where the 2 hex bolts were, and what can I do about it to make it look proper without excessive $ or body work?

Also, what can I do about all the scratches around the border of where the bracket touches the front bumper? Touch-up paint?

So there definitely will be holes there, and I assume that they will look bad?

Just curious, is the only solution to order these? Are the holes very big / bad looking without these?

Front license plates are an abomination. This pic show's the stock license plate hole plugs on my S2000 as well as my plate mounted inside the right front windshield. I've given up on that approach too and now I just keep the front plate in the trunk. No tickets yet.

So those are the unplugged holes? If so, I may skip on the plugs. Doesn't look so bad.

nope, looks plugged to me

just take it off and get the plugs, they are like 5 bucks and they should have come with the car. did you check the secret compartment?

My car had a front plate too and did not come with the plugs. Just took off the plate, waxed up the bumper and ordered some plugs from hardtopguy.

without the plugs it does look right...
