Honda Certified?
When I bought my car a few months ago, I was told that it wouldn't be able to be Certified because it had an aftermarket exhaust on it.
Earlier this week I recieved a Honda Certification letter and card from Honda saying my car was certified. Obviously Honda inspected the car and submitted paperwork stating the car was Certified (spoke with the dealership I bought it from).
So I called the dealership today and they told me to bring in the letter and card I got in the mail from Honda and they would inspect it.
IMO they should honor this certification, even if made by mistake. What do you guys think?

it wasnt certified when you bought it? did you buy the service contract of 7yr 100K bumper to bumper? if the dealer sold it to you with the exhaust then it should be covered since it was sold that way.
thats odd because we have cars with exhausts sometimes on our lot and they still manage to get certified. usually when honda sends you the paper it was already certified when you bought the car. As long as you have that card from honda saying its certified your ok. Just take it to another dealer if anything messes up on your car, because with the honda certification you can get it repaired at ANY honda dealer not just the one you bought it from.
Would they be able to repair a broken convertible latch? A pice came loose and the piece you press to release the latch came off. I still have the piece but something inside the latch is broken? Is this covered under honda certification warranty?
Thanks in advance
