honda is cool!!!! regarding technical problems
hey guys as uguys know
2000-2001 s have a clutch buzzing problem (TSB 00-054)
my car is 2000 and my clutch was buzzing and rattling really bad
so i took my car to honda dealer with a copy of TSB(00-054)
first of all they kinda admitted that there is a such a problems on 00-01 S
so they told me that i have to authorize them to take my tranny apart to see if it is the problem that im having and if it is then they said they will cover it for free........even my car was out of warranty so i was like " ok go ahead and take my tranny apart"
but they told me that if it is not the problem that im talking about and if it was something else then i have to pay 549 just for the labor to put my tranny back together or pay whatever takes to get that problem fixed............. i was like WHAT THE F%^$
cuz my car is doing the exact samething the TSB says and all
but just in case what if it is not then im gonna have to burn 549 to hell
so i couldnt make a decision whether i have to authorize them to take my tranny apart or not
.........anyway i thought i should try the american honda company to see if they can help me
so i called the customer service and they directed my call to one of the techinical service supervisor and left the voice message
few days later, this lady from honda called me back she was really nice and she said that honda will gladly to pay for this TSB(00-054) if it is what it is
so i told her about the dealer how they wanna charge me 549 etc
she said she will talk to the guy from dealer and call me back
few mins later she called me and told me they both agreed on fixing my clutch at no charge even if it wasnt the problem they woudlnt charge to put my tranny back together
i was like thank you very much
what im getting at is that the lady from honda was very kind and nice
and i could feel that they actually wanna help you with the customers
have you guys treated like this from honda too??
by the way im getting my car back on wed with new clutch and all

Dealers usually suck to deal with, but once you get on the phone with America Honda's customer service reps, they are usually a lot nicer and try to help.
That's pretty nice of them since you don't have a warranty and the clutch rattle is only a TSB and not a recall. Are they replacing the whole entire clutch assembly and how many miles are on your car?
