I saw on the Saab forums that someone cut their key out and cut a slot in their keyless remote and joined the two. Looked very cool. I'm trying to find the pictures, but can't. But it ended up looking like that integrated honda key.

My Ridgeline has the same key... as they all do. Like one of the previous posts, it's nice not to have to carry two fobs. Although the key is quite large. I think the flip-out key would be a nice upgrade.

I had a BMW with the keyless entry in the key and it was kind of cool, but nothing too special. I would like to have some kind of smart key for my car so I could just have the key in my pocket and start the car with the button. I'm suprised that no type of aftermarket system is made like that.

Accord has it since '03. Personally?, I like it. There's no way I'll hand the key to someone, and I hate that other things on the keychain hitting my knees while driving even with shortest chain I could find.

Someone started the tread about doing this a little while back, don't know how did it end up.

I like them seperate. When I drive the families RX330, the key the only thing I need to grab... So it's so small I fear losing it when I get out of the car. Granted most people normally have other key chains and Safeway Select cards or whatever, but ours doesn't. So in that case I like the seperate piece.

On the S2, it doesn't matter much since the Clifford alarm can't be joined to the key.

But for the most part, I do like that idea. But I bet work is involved since the S2000 does not have your typical starter.

I like them integrated, the other feature i like on the new civic and fit is the wiper not having the hard part that holds the rubber.

I like the "switchblade" key/remote for my Audi. It's the same as the one VW uses, and fits perfectly in that little watch pocket in my Levis. I'm half tempted to pick up a used one and see if I could get the Honda remote to fit in the case. The key itself doesn't look like too much of a problem, as the business end is just about the same dimensions as the Audi key.

Personally, I dream about a day when all cars have keyless entry, and the keyless entry signal is a universal standard. That way, I could carry *one* of the damn things and just teach each car to recognize that unit as allowed to operate the car... Well, I can dream, can't I?
