I think most editors love the Boxster for its fluid driving dynamics and wonderful "feel" mostly, not just the torque.

You're forgetting cost, nasti. Or, maybe you don't care about cost.

The S2000 is amazing bang for the buck. And, yeah, it definitely gives the Boxster S a run for its money on the track (many folks have confirmed that here).

So, the question is whether you would tolerate a $50K Honda Sxxxx... I for one would not have bought one at that price... The Honda is in a class by itself at its price.

I give you a lot of credit. You stated your point of view, made your points, and stood your ground. You are certainly persistant. My hat is off to you.

I don't agree with your point, I refuse to get involved in the horsepower wars. I think the S is just fine the way it is, but I do like this thread.

Best of all, we've had a nice debate without the flames.

Excellent.

Honda could upgrade those cheap ass visors. They are a disgrace!!!They look like they came from a Yugo.

And that stupid mirror thing. It is embarrassing to drive with the top down and the visor up with that mirror showing. They need to remove it or put a proper mirror with a cover on it as many entry level cars now offer.

I for one would like a few more horses or maybe just a bit more torque at a lower RPM. It would make the average trip on big city downtown streets a little more enjoyable.

hey im not complaining, the s2k has plenty of power for me right now...once warranty is over and i need an extra hp boost in the future, i will go with the speedcraft turbo or vortech/comptech supercharger.

just remember, all those new cars that are coming out are F/I, such as the evo 8 and the sti that is coming out. its not fair to compare F/I cars to N/A cars, such as the s2k(that unbelievably makes a whopping 240 hp out of a n/a 2.0 liter motor). just slap a turbo on this badboy and you'll hang with, or most likely beat the competition.
