You can't have looked for too many years... I bought mine for $20 in the last couple years.
Well .... let's see. Carney's book was published in 2001 [I'll admit I don't know if there have been any reprints]. I got my "S" in the fall of 2004; found out about Carney's book about a year later...... soooo I've been looking for at buying a copy [at a reasonable price] for about 3 years. Now is that considered: "a couple", "a few", or "many" years of looking?

If you got a "good" copy for 20 bucks "a couple" of years ago ....I assume that means about "2 years" you are to be congratulated on your find. I have rarely [if ever] seen one for under $100. I won't pay $100. At this moment Amazon has 7 copies for sale ranging from $120 to $201. Ebay doesn't have any listed.

Wanna sell your dust catcher [I assume it's collecting dust here] ? If it's in "excellent" condition I'll pay you $50 plus shipping..... that would be a 150% profit in "about" 2 years. You can't beat that. And just think, you won't have to dust it anymore.

I'm just giving the OP a hard time. Not looking to sell. It is a good book on the S2K. Bought it just after I got my '01.

Hmm, I think I bought mine within that time frame. Definitely no later than 2005. I also got it for ~$20 new directly from Amazon. I had no idea it was out of print and worth that much until a topic similar to this popped up a couple of months back. I guess I might've bought the last copy.

That's pricey for an s2000 book.

I bought the Carney book a few years before I bought my S2K. I have it on my coffee table.
