I decided to get the seatbelt recall done. So I called my dealer and made an appointment. They told me that they had never done it before (my dealer only sold 5 S2K's, and two of them to out of state owners). I was a little worried, but I figured that it couldn't be that big of a deal. I also have been having trouble with my CD changer, so I wanted them to check it out as well.

They scheduled 4 hours to do the job. When I got to the dealership to pick it up, they were not done. I couldn't wait, since I had a flight to catch so I told them I would pick it up on Monday. When I went to pick it up on Monday, they had the car parked in the garage, in a secluded area with a big "Do Not Touch" sign on the window. The job was done well, and they even cleaned the inside (I had just washed the outside, but didn't have enough time to do the inside). I was a little worried about my beautiful Rick's special console cover, but there were no marks or dents on it. They order a completely new CD changer for the car. I couldn't be happier.

I know that many of you have had bad experiences with your dealer, but I for one am a happy camper. They told me that the reason they didn't get it done, was that they only allowed their head mechanic to work on it, and he got behind. Got to love it.
