OK heres what you do.....take the car back to the dealer,toss them the keys and walk off the lot.Then,go buy a paper and see if you can find a nice used Yugo because anyone who takes steel wool to paint is to F'n stupid to drive an S.

You haven't answered the question:
"Why in the Hell would you take steel wool to a car's finish?"

This is a process used in the auto body trade to "rough up" a painted surface in preparation for a new finish. And you think Honda will cover this damage under WARRANTY? GOOD GOD, MAN! I don't know if I should be doing this: or this:
And now you want to paint the soft top?
THIS HAS GOT TO BE A JOKE THREAD!

(Oh and make sure that before you paint the top, you sand blast it real good so the paint will stick. )
