Why the f**k are you using steel wool for? That stuff is not made for paint. It does a great job on some Aluminum wheels I have, but paint??????????????

Why would you scrub it down with Steel Wool? Steel wool should scratch metal, why should any paint not get scratched?

I can't think of anything on my car that steel wool will ever touch. I would be very surprised if the dealer will cover this for no charge.

He's probably joking. Which reminds me, didn't the old DeLoreans have to be treated with wool or something?
