as for your answer, hondata is essentially repgramming your ECU's flash memory. the ECU has a memory chip that stores all of the information regarding how the car runs; what fuel maps, rev limiter, timing, etc. the hondata reflash reprograms your ECU for more aggressive tuning, timing, etc. that's how it gets more power.

Thats awesome...now I'm jealous of the '06 guys! Hondata has had a HUGE impact in the RSX world with their ECU upgrades.. Granted, there's a lot more room for improvement in the K-series compared to the F-series, but I'm definitely curious to see what they come up with for the S.

I would be lying if I said I haven't seriously thought about trading in my MY04 for a MY06 or 07 down the road depending on how this whole thing plays out.
