Default Hondata Reflash w/Toda headers

Im asking for a friend of course!!

Hondata has 2 reflashes. One regular and one requiring Toda Racing headers. I am curious.. I mean, My friend wants to know why you have to have the headers for the one reflash.. and if they have to be the Toda headers? or do you think that you could use a diferent header instead of forkin out the 1k for the toda's.

What do you guys think??

I think the car Hondata did this on just happened to have a Toda header at the time, so they were honest and reported it as such. Who knows what kind of results you would get with a different header.

You cannot use that reflash with boost. Anytime you go boost you have to be able to make custom mods to your ECU.

Anyways, to answer your question yes you/your friend would want the Toda reflash.

The only reason why a Toda header was used with that reflash is because Hondata got me a good deal on that header.

I knew it! If they got you a Mugen header cheap, you would have taken it.

the header will vary but not by that much. it should be ok with other brands the only difference would be where the torque or hp peak hits.

if you plan to do FI do the new EMS from AEM, they posted on their forum that the EMS is done.

im thinking hondata might do a kpro for the 06 like they did for the type-s. not positive but just hoping since they did a reflash for it already.
i'll wait for this one...
