Hmmm, from the Hondata website:

...other headers will probably be ok. You should always dyno the engine with the reflash to make sure the air/fuel is within a safe range. If the header does not work then your options are to switch to a Toda header or return your ECU to stock.
Probably just a disclaimer to protect themselves. I wonder what the results would be with a header but keeping the cat, or getting a high flow cat.

2QYK4U, since you have the reflash, I have a Q. How light do you have to be using the throttle before the switch to high cam vtec? Do you ever find the engine unexpectedly going into vtec if you give a bit too much gas? I'm just curious because 4200 seems to be very low rpm for vtec.

Hopefully they'll come out with a version of the K-pro for the F22.

I knew it! If they got you a Mugen header cheap, you would have taken it.
Of course.

the header will vary but not by that much. it should be ok with other brands the only difference would be where the torque or hp peak hits.

if you plan to do FI do the new EMS from AEM, they posted on their forum that the EMS is done.
AEM did not make an EMS for the MY06...and they won't simply because the car has DBW and AEM does not want to get involved in that. What has happened is a guy named Mike at AutoWave has developed a wiring harness which allows an AEM EMS to be used in conjunction with the factory ECU. The factory ECU controls the DBW and the EMS controls everything else.

Ask me how I know all this.

I am not currently running the reflash. I am using an AEM EMS. However, when I was using the reflash I had zero problems. As discussed on Hondata's website, and in other threads on this form, Hondata implemented a VTEC window. Check out their website or other threads for info.

I know they implemented a vtec window. And they state that at cruise speed and light throttle you are on the low cam, and it switches to high cam at WOT. I was just curious what is exactly meant by "cruise and light throttle." So, unless you are at WOT between 4200 and 6000 RPM it does not switch to high cam?
