HOOD WON'T CLOSE?

Default HOOD WON'T CLOSE?

I just got delivery of my 2004 s2000, i popped the hood to check out the engine but for some reason it won't close tightly? i'm still new to the car so i'm kinda stupid can someone help?

I'm not gonna go try it right now but basically just hold it really high? like 2 ft and drop it? because i tried to lay it down and den just press on it but that doesn't do anything also....cars in the garage rite now sleeping and theres nother car blockin the garage door don't wanna have to move it and stuff...

if that didn't work, maybe it needs to be readjusted, you can do that yourself, but since it's new, I'd just take it to honda and have them do it. Just drive slow, you don't want that ho to pop up on you.

all it needs is a re-adjustment on the hood latch. i had to re-adjust mine once i got the carbon fiber hood

don't press on that aluminum hood too hard, it'll dent it
yeah drop from a foot or two above and it should close by gravity....
*shudder* taking the car to the dealership is scary
