Take the hood off altogether and say it's a vented aluminum hood.

Wow you guys aernt helping. Anyways I dont think its possible to strip the black spray paint off without damaging your original paint. My recommendation is to just take it to a body shop and have it repainted to match your car.

If you used a normal spray point these are generally alcohol based paints, whereas the original Honda paint is a synthetic one .... if you use a normal household paint stripper and a heat gun this will take off the alcohol based spray paint and not affect the OEM paint.

Did you mean paint thinner? I tried a paint stripper - the metal, knife-edged one, and am afraid I did more damage than before...

This has got to be a joke right? You SPRAY PAINTED your hood and now your trying to remove it? Just take it to a body shop man, even if you get the paint off the stuff underneath won't look right.

This is the Id-Pid-Da-Me of RICE!!! I can't believe that you did that! You are a jack ass! I hate you and everything that you stand for! Why in the hell would you do something so damn stupid! You f-ed up a perfectly good paint job to make your car LOOK like it had a carbon fiber top. What did you think that you would get out of that mod? When you drive, do you LOOK like you're going faster? Does the car LOOK lighter now? Ass... I hope that you never get that paint off. I can't wait until someone ask you WTF is wrong with the hood and you tell them that you wanted to make the car LOOK lighter so you spray painted the hood. Do us a favor and kill yourself.
