Default How big is too big???

Hello,

I'm quite taken with the S2000 and seriously considering the purchase of one. My problem, however, is one of physics. I'm a relatively tall guy (6' 7") and am not sure if I could comfortably fit behind the wheel of this beautiful car. While it would be a simple matter to stroll into the local Honda dealer and try one on for size, that's not possible as they have none on the lot. I was hoping someone here might be close to my height and be able to offer some insight on this issue. If anyone has anything to contribute, I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards,

Erik

If you can't find a dealer with one try finding a place that rents exotic cars.I'm sure they would let you hop in for a fit.

I'm 6'3" 230 lbs. I sure would not want to be any taller or wider and own this car. My vote is that it might be a little on the uncomfortable side, not to mention you will need to carry a tooth brush with you to clean the bugs out of your teeth when the top is down

My quess is at 6'7" you would have to replace the stock seat with a racing seat that sits lower to be comfortable.... and, it still might not be enough. Whatever you do, don't order one until you have test driven one. During the winter, there are plenty around at dealerships in the snow belt states.

Check out Carmax, they had something like 9 S2000's locally (DC area). I was able to fully test drive a used S2000 there (VTEC !) and then bought a new one from my Honda Dealer.

I'm 5'9" and the S2000 fits me perfectly, that being said I'd guess that 6'7" is a tad too big.

I don't know your weight, but some friends of mine that are between 250-300lbs usually say something about the tightness of the seat.

My boss is 6' 4" and whenever we go anywhere in my car his knees are in the dash and his hair touches the top....Definatly sit in one before you buy it.
