How can I check the engine light code w/ a jumper?

How can I check the engine light code w/ a jumper?
Found a link on here but it was dead..
I'm sure I jumped the right 2 wires (SCS), the light blinked 9 long times.. I just don't know what that means. I've been searching the interweb for a good hour now with no luck, found a few diff OBDII charts for like a prelude and a accord.. but nothing for the S2k..
nevermind, found it in the UK section..
