Default How can u fix the top from flapping at high speed?

A question for older model S2k owners:

When the top is up - the sides (both sides by the plastic rear window) make tons of noise when flapping all about at high speed. I tried putting velcro inside the flaps - this worked but the adhesive on the velcro backing was not made to withstand water and outside wear...any body have a better, more durable solution that also could be reversible?

Keep your window's up. If this is happening with your window's up, then Chicago weather has just ruined your top and maybe you need a replacement.

Thanks for the response

It happens regardless of the windows being up or down...it's more a problem with the wind going over the top and it happend when I first got the car - I know the car has two rubber like insulating strips between the flaps to keep the canvass flapping to much but that has not been effective. Can anyone recommend a glue that will work on and not damage both the top material and velcro backing?
