Default How Critical is Oil Pan Drain Bolt Torque Spec?

I just moved and cant find my torque wrench. My oil needs to be changed today and I know there is a spec for the oil pan drain bolt. How critical is that spec or can I just tighten the bolt down a "resonable amount"?

Spec is about 30 lb/ft. I don't think many people who do oil changes actually use a torque wrench. After the first couple of oil changes, I do it by feel. IMO, the spec torque is lots for such a tiny amount of thread anyway.

Not important. You just sort of get a feel for it, torque it to "about right" (tight enough that you know it's going to seal, not so tight that you're going to have troubles getting it out again without using anything more than a regular sized wrench / stripping the threads).
