How did it get the name S2000?
i'm pretty sure its becuase it came out in the new millenium
it came out for sale in 99 i think, correct me if i am wrong.
So that is one reason,
the other reaso is that when it came out, it was a 2.0L engine,
therefore, 2000, pertaining to its displacement.
but if that was true, MY04's should have been called the S2200
